  • Overview

    • Perform tasks within full-scale production manufacturing operations, including routine assembly; or quality assurance and reliability testing following established methods and procedures. 
    • Operators are to be cross-trained and expected to perform any/all essential tasks within the production/manufacturing operations within the standard run time associated with each assembly.
    • Responsible for the assembly and/or manufacturing of single use, surgical components to create finished goods SKUs in the Disposable Packs area.
    • All work performed must be completed with the highest Quality standards possible and within the allowed time given in order to maintain the highest efficiencies possible with minimum requirements established for each operation.
    • Must be able to work four-ten hour days from 6:00am to 4:30pm. Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturday's and Sunday's.
    • Must be able to communicate and work as a team in a diverse culture within the department and facility.
    • Must be able to effectively and respectfully communicate to others outside of our department.


    • Able to perform all Mfg. Associate I responsibilities:
    • Reading and following of drawings and SOPs.
    • Use of computer to navigate through work instructions and to back flush products.
    • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
    • Maintain highest quality and report any findings of quality issues that may be in question.
    • Maintains accurate and complete production records.
    • Responsible for signing and dating Device History record for any task performed on a daily basis
    • Responsible for signing and dating training sheets once training has been performed and prior to working on any products.
    • Learn and perform various tasks as assigned.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work space for oneself and co-workers.
    • Responsible for 5S activities in assigned areas throughout the day and in particular at the end of shift.
    • Encouraged to participate in further 5S and Lean initiatives throughout all work stations.
    • Responsible for personal safety and safety of co-workers through annual safety trainings, participation in stretching break activities, and reporting any safety issues that may arise

    Assembly of Stellaris modules and final Stellaris systems.


    In addition:

    Hand soldering according to GMP.
    Completing and maintaining accurate device and test records.



    Required Education:  High School diploma. Equivalent experience may be considered.


    Required Skills/Qualifications:

    • Ability to read and write, add and subtract whole numbers; follow instructions; use of fixed gauges, direct reading instruments and similar devices; where interpretation is not required.

    • Dependable and reliable with strong attendance record.

    • Must be able to stand or sit in one place for periods of time.

    • Must be able to use telephones, calculators, and computer equipment including hand held tablets.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 yr. experience of directly related production experience.
    • Up to six months of directly related production experience.
    • Demonstrated ability in the use of little judgment to follow instructions; use of simple equipment in performing duties with little or no choice as to the procedures used in achieving results.
