Supervise employees who are responsible for compounding sterile ophthalmic solutions and sterilizing primary packaging components.
This is a 2nd shift position M-F 4:00pm - 12:00 mid night
Time and attendance review and maintenance for department employees.
Ensure all process training and SOP training is up to date.
Provide supervisory support for Compounding / Sterilization personnel. This includes administering disciplinary actions. Manage the work environment by providing a conduit for employee concerns and issues.
Write investigations and CAPA actions for non-conformances for Bulk and Gamma departments. Write and maintain SOPs and other manufacturing specifications and Manage the department budgets.
Monitor and take action to improve department metrics including scrap, non-conformance, batch record errors and plant efficiency.
Order indirect materials and equipment to support the process.
Scope of Position: Supervise employees who are responsible for compounding sterile ophthalmic solutions and sterilizing primary packaging components.
Advanced problem solving such as Six Sigma and Lean training preferred.
Education: College Degree prefer Technical Degree
Experience: 5 years manufacturing experience. 2 or more years in a regulated industry preferred.
Special Skills: Technical writing, problem solving tools, Excel.
