This is a 2nd shift position (3:00pm-11:30pm) with some overtime required per business need.
Perform calibrations of process and laboratory instrumentation. Efficient troubleshooting and repair of instruments and electronic equipment. Ensure accurate completion of documentation. This is a second shift positon.
Perform calibration of instruments and electronic equipment in facility (temperature/humidity, mass, scales/balances, pipettes, pneumatic, physical/dimensional, torque, and other various electronic equipment).
Ensure proper completion of all documentation.
Establish calibration procedures for new equipment.
Facilitate work schedule.
Maintain GMP, ISO, FDA, and SOP training compliance.
Abide by PPE and good housekeeping procedures.
Assume responsibility for GMP, ISO, environmental health and safety procedure awareness, compliance within the respective area.
Understanding and knowledge of PLC and control system logic.
Ability to climb stairs; climb on equipment such as tanks. Moderate to heavy lifting (25kg).
Working knowledge of MS Office suite.
Reliable, confident, eager to learn, and enjoy working with people.
Thorough understanding of calibration concepts and requirements including accuracy, precision, and testing requirements.
Knowledge and efficient with Blue Mountain RAM database (desired).
All other duties as assigned.
This position requires Aseptic Gowning Certification.
Project management and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of Maximo and Blue Mountain RAM managements systems (desired).
Logical approach to troubleshooting, calibration and repair of equipment. 5. Good organizational skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detailed oriented and quality conscious.
Must be able to respond to emergencies (on-call support is required).
Must be capable of working in the aseptic environment.
Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience (Military Technical School, PMEL, TMDE, or METCAL experience desired).
2 year degree in technical field is desired.
